Summary

IDR is seeking a Quality Control Coordinator to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in California/remote with travel. This role is vital in overseeing quality assurance processes for hyperscale infrastructure projects and large-scale construction sites across multiple locations or remotely, with some travel involved. The position focuses on maintaining high standards of technical integrity and continuous improvement through rigorous audits and implementation of quality control systems.

Position Overview for the Quality Control Coordinator:
  • Responsible for ensuring each project is executed with precision and technical integrity regardless of location.
  • Oversee the implementation of In-Process Quality Control (IPQC) systems and digital checklists to prevent "Style Drift" and promote "First-Pass Yield" on site handovers.
  • Conduct audits to verify adherence to quality protocols across active hyperscale sites.
  • Analyze deployment defects and recommend updates to standards or SOPs to improve outcomes.
  • Identify, document, and track "punch list" items to ensure remediation before final approval.

Requirements for the Quality Control Coordinator:
  • A bachelor's degree in quality management, construction management, engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) within the datacenter, large-scale construction or high-tech manufacturing sectors.
  • Ability to read and interpret BIM models, Blueprints, CAD drawings, and Line Diagrams.
  • Mastery of digital quality auditing tools and the ability to digitize inspection processes.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify root causes of rework and collaborate on corrective actions.
