SAP Functional Consultant – Supply Chain

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering: Gather, document and translate business needs into SAP solutions for the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process, which covers planning, purchasing, inventory, and payment within SAP''s MM and FI modules.
Provide ongoing support for SAP P2P processes like planning, guided buying, strategic sourcing, and inventory management.
Provide consulting support for master data and data migration strategies/execution.
System Configuration: Configure SAP S/4 for Supply Chain business needs including demand planning, production planning, procurement, and inventory management to meet business needs and standards.
Integration & Collaboration: Ensure seamless integration of Supply Chain solution with other SAP modules and external applications.
Testing & Deployment: Develop test plans, execute test scenarios, and validate results, supporting the deployment of new SAP S/4 Supply Chain solutions.
Communication and leadership: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, manage expectations & train end-users.
Experience with integrations: Knowledge of how MM/IM integrates with other SAP modules like Sales and Distribution (SD), and FICO as well as third-party systems.
Support & Problem-Solving: Provide post launch support for SAP MM/IM/SDFI-CO, including troubleshooting issues, resolving incidents, and performing root cause analysis.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Educational: A bachelor''s degree in a related field such as Information Technology or Business Administration. SAP Certification(s) in the MM/IM module is a plus.
Technical expertise: In-depth functional knowledge of SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA within the MM/IM module and P2P processes. Strong experience writing functional specification documents and hands-on experience with SAP configuration. ABAP knowledge is a plus.
Familiarity with integration and middleware technologies
Batch job management
Transport management
Experience in Data Migration (extraction, cleansing, loading and validation)
BTP (Business Technology Platform – Cloud based) knowledge is a plus.
Designing, implementing, and maintaining Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)processes to ensure seamless electronic document exchange with trading partners
Deep understanding of core SAP MM/IM/P2P functionalities, including demand planning, production planning, procurement, and inventory management.
Familiarity with integration points between MM/IM and other SAP modules (SD, FICO).
Analytical and problem-solving abilities: The capacity to identify and troubleshoot complex business and system issues, and to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Communication and leadership: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, manage expectations & train end-users.
Project experience: Proven experience working on at least 2 full-cycle SAP implementation projects.
