Role Overview
We are seeking a PHP Developer with strong OpenCart experience and a solid understanding of eCommerce analytics tools such as GA4 and Google Merchant Center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing eCommerce platforms while leveraging data analytics for performance improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain OpenCart-based eCommerce websites
- Customize themes, modules, and extensions using PHP
- Integrate and manage Google Analytics (GA4) for tracking and insights
- Configure and optimize Google Merchant Center for product listings and feeds
- Work with SQL databases for data management, reporting, and optimization
- Analyze website performance and user behavior using analytics tools
- Implement tracking, tagging, and reporting solutions
- Troubleshoot and optimize website performance and scalability
- Collaborate with marketing and business teams to improve conversion rates
Required Skills
- Strong experience in PHP development
- Hands-on experience with OpenCart (customization & development)
- Experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
- Knowledge of Google Merchant Center & product feed management
- Strong SQL skills for data querying and reporting
- Understanding of data analytics and reporting
- Experience with eCommerce workflows and integrations
Nice to Have
- Experience with third-party APIs and payment gateway integrations
- Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing analytics
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., dashboards)
- Familiarity with Squared system (clarify if it's internal or third-party tool)
