TEKsystems is looking to bring on a IT Infrastructure Engineer-level resource to support operational workload as well as several upcoming infrastructure initiatives. This role is highly hands-on and will work closely with the Infrastructure Architect and internal IT teams.
We're supporting a key technology organization located in Palmer and are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to assist with both day-to-day operations and upcoming infrastructure initiatives. This is a hands-on technical role supporting a mixed on-prem and cloud environment.
What You'll Do- Manage and support physical and virtual infrastructure (servers, storage, networking, virtualization, cloud services)
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues across on-prem and cloud environments
- Participate in disaster recovery, business continuity, and incident response activities
- Implement or support security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, patching, system hardening)
- Deploy or maintain technologies including Windows Server, VMware/Hyper-V, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and related platforms
- Collaborate closely with Infrastructure Architecture and internal IT teams to ensure stability and reliability
What We're Looking For- Strong hands-on experience with enterprise infrastructure technologies
- Solid troubleshooting capability across systems, networks, and virtualization
- Experience supporting both operational workload and project-based initiatives
- Security-minded with familiarity in patching, hardening, and core security controls
- Someone proactive, execution-focused, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
