Scientist I

• Candidates highly experienced in cellular and/or molecular biology are encouraged to apply, with prior experience in CHO cell biology highly desired.
• Responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing platform research studies to support process development activities aimed at reducing overall timelines while improving cell line productivity and product quality.
• Assist in generating engineered mammalian cell lines such as transfection pools and clones expressing candidate biotherapeutics.
• Support multiple concurrent studies to optimize cell line generation processes.
• Perform mammalian cell culture techniques including sterile technique, cell counting, passaging, and cryopreservation.
• Perform basic molecular biology techniques including DNA plasmid preparation, PCR, and restriction enzyme digestion.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and data sets to communicate results, progress, and plans effectively.

Requirement/Must Have:

Experience:

• PhD with 0-2 years of relevant experience in Biology, Cellular Biology, or Molecular Biology.
• Master s or Bachelor s degree with equivalent industry experience.

Responsibilities:

• Experience in CHO cell biology.
• Experience in suspension culture of CHO cell lines in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology setting.

Skills:

• Molecular biology techniques including gene editing, copy number analysis, and Gibson assembly.

Qualification And Education:

• PhD in Biology, Cellular Biology, Molecular Biology, or related field with 1-2 years of experience.
• Master s or Bachelor s degree with equivalent industry experience.
