Responsibilites. Responsible for formulating analytical problems, extracting and analyzing data from multiple systems, summarizing critical findings and insights, and developing compelling visual representations of analyses with actionable recommendations. Acquire, clean, and analyze large data sets and conduct exploratory analyses to derive meaningful patterns. Participate in Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiatives, discovering innovative ways to leverage ADP data to create new software products and services, and apply emerging techniques within data science. Leverage expertise in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture, including retrieval models, generative models, and their interaction, to generate accurate and informative outputs. Evaluate and analyze RAG systems using performance metrics such as precision, recall, and F1 score. Apply advanced statistical and data mining techniques, including GLM/Regression, Random Forest, Boosting, Decision Trees, text mining, neural networks, deep learning, and social network analysis, to identify, design, develop, and implement complex analytical projects.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies. Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field of study plus five (5) years of related experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and three (3) years of related experience.
Work Experience. Two (2) years of experience must include: Python and Jupiter Notebooks; Building NLU/NLP machine learning models; Modern language models (BERT, GPT, MPNET); Develop and provide technical leadership in the development of scalable micro-services in Python using Flask or other frameworks; Statistical and data mining techniques: GLM/Regression, Random Forest, Boosting, Trees, text mining, neural networks, deep learning social network analysis; Machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks; DevOps / CICD frameworks for container deployments (Docker / Kubernetes); NoSQL, MongoDB and vector databases; and Amazon Services: S3, SQS, SNS, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB.
