Summary

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Embedded Hardware Engineer to lead the design and development of embedded electronic systems for innovative medical devices. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in end-to-end PCB design using Altium Designer, embedded hardware development, and medical device product development from concept through production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop embedded electronic hardware for medical devices.
  • Create complete schematics and multi-layer PCB layouts using Altium Designer (Altium 365 preferred).
  • Lead hardware development from concept, prototyping, verification, and validation through manufacturing.
  • Design analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits using ST microcontrollers.
  • Perform circuit simulation, debugging, root cause analysis, and support EMC/EMI compliance.
  • Develop technical documentation including design specifications, FMEA, BOMs, and design records.
  • Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and global engineering teams.
  • Support design transfer, DFM/DFA, cost optimization, and production industrialization.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Embedded Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of embedded hardware/electronics design experience.
  • Expert in complete PCB design (schematic through layout) using Altium Designer.
  • Strong experience with analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design.
  • Experience with ST microcontrollers and embedded systems.
  • Knowledge of medical device standards (IEC/EN 60601), EMC/EMI, DFM/DFA, and production transfer.
  • Strong documentation, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Medical device industry experience is required.
