Pay Range: $60.97hr - $65.97hr

Job Overview:

The candidate will engage daily with field technicians and material leads to develop, implement, and refine workflows for gas and electric meter check-in and check-out processes. This role involves partnering with software vendors to update applications based on field feedback and ensuring RFID hardware remains operational. The successful candidate will apply strong program management practices to meet high-impact milestones and support the organization s metering initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Engage daily with field technicians and material leads to develop, implement, and refine workflows for gas and electric meter check-in and check-out processes.
• Partner with the software vendor to update the application based on technician feedback, field observations, and evolving workflow needs.
• Ensure passive RFID readers, antennas, and mobile readers remain in good working order; coordinate with internal and external partners to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate with metering OEMs to ship new meters with RFID labels through Crawl, Walk and Run phase approach.
• Serve as backup to another Program Manager overseeing contractors responsible for auditing and RFID tagging existing issued meters systemwide.
• Support RFP-related activities as needed.
• Take ownership of aggressive, high-impact milestones across the crawl, walk, and run phases of the project.
• Apply strong program management practices, including clear communication, forward planning, follow-up, meeting documentation, risk tracking, and stakeholder alignment.
• Complete moderate to complex problems and take a new perspective on existing solutions, plans, and goals.
• Work independently on most issues.
• Provide direction on overall program plan and goals.
• Responsible for most or all deliverables within the program implementation plan.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to various levels of management.
• Develop budget forecasts, conduct analysis in support of identifying budget variances, and develop solutions to address them.
• Develop new and ad-hoc reports, summarize findings and recommendations, and provide business insight.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree.
• Exceptional analytical and technical ability.
• Proficiency with Excel, Power BI, and other reporting tools.
• Ability to manage time-sensitive priorities.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding business commitments.
• Experience in change management.
• Strong initiative, teamwork, accountability for results, customer focus, and sound judgment.
• Project, program management, or engineering experience.

Desired Qualifications:

• Professional Engineer license or Project Management Professional certification.
• Five years of post-graduate engineering or project management experience.
• Operations experience and new technology deployment experience.
• Ability to motivate others and create enthusiasm for project goals.
• Excellent presentation and organizational skills in a collaborative environment.
• Self-starter who can work effectively with minimal oversight.

Education:

Bachelor degree or equivalent experience.

Experience:

6 years of related experience or equivalent.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Advanced knowledge of Program Management.
• Ability to communicate findings and recommendations to various levels of management.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects with demanding time constraints.
• Knowledge and understanding of business drivers.
• Demonstrated ability to manage or direct teams.
• Ability to work within a Regulatory environment.
• Ability to assess and recommend solutions for assigned projects.
• Knowledge of energy industry applications to local level customers, including energy issues, customer energy efficiency applications, and general customer information.

Work Environment:

• Primarily office environment with extensive use of personal computers, telephone conversations, conference calls and in person meetings.
• Travel may be required.
