Solutions Data Architect
Location: Jersey City, NJ, Dallas, TX, Chicago, IL
Employment Type: Full-time
Mode of work: Hybrid (3 days onsite/week)
Experience: 15+ years in IT
Role Summary
- Looking for a Solutions Data Architect with 15+ years of overall IT experience
- Strong expertise in Azure, Databricks, Unity Catalog, PySpark, Hadoop, Data Architecture, and Data Modelling
- Should be capable of designing enterprise-scale modern data platforms
- Must have experience in cloud data modernization, data governance, and scalable analytics solutions
- Exposure to Agentic AI and AI-ready data ecosystems is highly preferred
Must-Have Skills
- 15+ years of IT experience
- Strong experience as a Data Architect / Solution Architect / Data Engineering Architect
- Hands-on expertise in Azure Cloud
- Deep experience with Azure Databricks
- Strong knowledge of Unity Catalog
- Strong programming skills in PySpark, Python, and SQL
- Expertise in Data Architecture
- Strong experience in Data Modelling
- Good understanding of Hadoop ecosystem
- Experience in building Data Lakes / Lakehouse platforms
- Experience in data governance, security, lineage, and cataloging
- Ability to design scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise data solutions
