Production Support Engineer

A large financial bank is looking for a Production Support Analyst to join their Production Services team to drive key initiatives across the ~400 application portfolio. This role will be hands-on to implement solutions to optimize workflows. ERF APS is committed to providing a best in class support experience for our business and technology partners.
Candidates should have automation, python skills, some database skills: overall idea of how a database works, doesn't have to be a specific Database, can be Microsoft SQL Server. They have a lot of legacy batches that exist and they are looking to streamline and make them simpler. Someone who comes from a SW engineering background with a track record of this strategic redesign, to know what is possible and what is not. Solution needs to be in the scope of their budget and timeline.
15+ years in a technical role such as Solutions Engineer, Technical Consultant, Systems Engineer, or similar.
Strong understanding of software architectures, APIs, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform), and integration patterns.
Hands-on experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, JavaScript) and/or SQL.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language.
Proven success working directly with customers in pre sales or delivery environments.
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
