Business Systems Administrator

Description

Robert Half is seeking an experienced Business Systems Administrator to support and optimize critical enterprise systems for a company near Appleton. This role is responsible for system configuration, security, performance monitoring, and end user support. You will work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to implement upgrades, enhance functionality, and ensure data integrity across platforms.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in improving operational efficiency through technology, while contributing to cross functional initiatives and long term system strategy.

What You'll Do:

Administer and configure core business systems, including user access, security settings, workflows, and module customizations

Monitor system performance and health metrics, proactively identifying and resolving issues to reduce downtime

Serve as the primary point of contact for end users, troubleshooting system issues and coordinating with external vendors when needed

Plan and implement system upgrades, patches, and enhancements in partnership with internal teams and third party providers

Support integrations between enterprise platforms such as ERP, WMS, CRM, eCommerce, and business intelligence systems

Perform routine data audits and integrity checks to ensure accuracy and reliability

Create and maintain documentation including user guides, technical specifications, and standard operating procedures

Contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning for mission critical systems

Act as a subject matter expert on cross functional technology initiatives

Recommend improvements and innovative solutions based on evolving best practices

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

At least 5 years of experience administering and supporting enterprise ERP or WMS platforms

Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to translate requirements into technical solutions

Experience troubleshooting programming languages and databases, with exposure to low code or no code platforms

Working knowledge of SQL and data querying for reporting and analysis

Familiarity with system integration methods and tools

Experience working within structured project management frameworks

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with strong attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment

Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and non technical teams
