Description:PURPOSE:

The AI Solutions Developer is responsible for designing, building, testing, and deploying AI-powered solutions that improve hotel operations and business productivity across Hyatt. This role partners closely with operational stakeholders to translate business challenges into practical AI solutions using ChatGPT, OpenAI technologies, Custom GPTs, Microsoft Copilot, and AI workflow automation tools. The position also supports the ongoing optimization, adoption, and continuous improvement of AI products used by hotel colleagues and corporate teams. The position responsibilities outlined below are not all encompassing. Other duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may be required and/or assigned as necessary.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support the design, development, and deployment of AI tools used by hotel colleagues.

Manage and prioritize a backlog of approximately 60 AI tools while supporting delivery of roughly 30 tools every eight weeks.

Build, test, and optimize Custom GPTs, AI skills, prompt-based solutions, and AI workflows using ChatGPT, OpenAI, and Microsoft Copilot technologies.

Translate operational business challenges into practical, scalable AI solutions and workflow automations.

Partner with Commercial Services, Events, Hotel Operations, and other stakeholders to identify AI opportunities and determine the appropriate solution for each use case.

Build, configure, and support Microsoft Copilot Agents that automate business processes and improve productivity.

Conduct user testing, validation, and prompt refinement to ensure AI tools meet business requirements and provide high-quality outputs.

Gather user feedback, monitor adoption, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve deployed AI solutions.

Collaborate with technical teams supporting enterprise AI platforms, agent ecosystems, APIs, and larger AI products.

Identify opportunities to improve hotel operations through automation, AI-driven workflows, and emerging technologies.

Effectively prioritize multiple concurrent AI initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Skills -

Hands-on experience building AI solutions utilizing ChatGPT, OpenAI, Custom GPTs, or Microsoft Copilot.

Strong prompt engineering skills with the ability to translate business ideas into functional AI solutions.

Experience building, testing, refining, and deploying AI workflows, agents, automations, and prompt-based applications.

Ability to understand business requirements and recommend the most appropriate AI technology or solution for each use case.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and critical-thinking skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate operational needs into technical AI solutions.

Experience gathering user feedback, monitoring adoption, and improving AI products based on business needs.

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Strong collaboration skills with business stakeholders, product teams, and technical partners.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

Hospitality industry experience, particularly supporting hotel operations, spa operations, commercial services, events, or sales.

Experience designing and building Microsoft Copilot Agents.

Familiarity with OpenAI APIs, Custom GPT development, AI skills, and AI product deployment.

Experience supporting AI product operations and user adoption.

Knowledge of hotel technology platforms, hospitality workflows, and operational processes.

Experience identifying automation opportunities and partnering with business stakeholders to implement AI solutions.

Degree or formal education in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
