Genesis10 is currently seeking a Technical Business Analyst for a contract position located in Milwaukee, WI. Will work on a hybrid schedule, and candidates should be local to Milwaukee. Compensation range: $40.00 - 42.00 per hour, W2, depending on skill and experience level. Summary: This role is with the Corporate Website Development Team for a Major Financial Services Company. The successful candidate will utilize a deep understanding of Agile methods, Content Management Systems (specifically Drupal), and website platform development to drive corporate website initiatives. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and strong technical acumen to drive the successful implementation of corporate website initiatives.
Responsibilities: - Lead the development and management of the product backlog, ensuring that stories and requirements are well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with business objectives
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Collaborate with the Product Owner and development team to ensure timely and successful delivery of high-quality website features and enhancements
- Serve as the technical expert on Content Management Systems, with a preference for experience in Drupal
- Work closely with content creators, designers, and developers to optimize the CMS for efficiency and functionality
- Assist in the customization and configuration of the CMS to meet the specific needs of the organization
- Collaborate with designers and developers to ensure seamless integration of design systems and components into the website platform
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of scalable, secure, and high-performance website solutions
- Utilize data and analytics to monitor website performance and drive continuous improvement
- Advocate for the use of design systems to ensure consistency and coherence across the corporate website
- Leverage analytics tools to track user interactions, identify areas for improvement, and inform data-driven decision-making
- Utilize Jira to manage and track development tasks, bugs, and enhancements
- Use Confluence to document processes, requirements, and project updates
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, preferably within a corporate website development environment
- Proven experience in Agile methods and backlog management
- Strong expertise in Content Management Systems, particularly Drupal
- Demonstrated experience in website platform development and design systems
- Proficiency with the Atlassian Tool Suite (Jira, Confluence)
- Experience with analysis of business and technical requirements
- Foundational IT Knowledge
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Desired skills: - Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM) or equivalent experience
- Basic understanding of software testing principles and practices
- Knowledge of common front-end development tools
- Experience with Component Content Management System (CCMS)
