Job Description:
Join the team to lead the critical verification and validation (V&V) of next-generation sensing systems. You will own the integration of BLK30 and ASTRO2 cameras into our collection vehicles, ensuring these complex drone systems operate with absolute reliability in real-time environments.
The Role:
This is a high-impact Individual Contributor role focused on the intersection of hardware, software, and AI. You aren't just running tests; you are designing the framework for how new features are validated, integrated, and rolled out.
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Develop: Build and implement software for drone systems using multi-threaded programming in C++ and Python.
Own the V&V Lifecycle: Establish V&V strategy and thresholds, develop comprehensive test plans, execute testing, and report results for complex sensing systems.
System Integration: Work within Linux/RTOS (Yocto) environments to integrate sensors and embedded applications.
AI Validation: Implement and validate AI-driven features, ensuring high reliability and performance in autonomous systems.
Documentation: Produce professional-grade technical documentation and architectural roadmaps for feature integration.
Technical Core Requirements
Languages: Expert-level proficiency in Python or C++ (specifically for system-level or embedded development).
Embedded Systems: Proven experience with hardware/software integration, specifically involving cameras, sensors, or robotics.
Cloud & Tools: Strong familiarity with AWS tools and pipeline development.
Environments: Hands-on experience with Linux kernel system calls, multi-threaded programming, and RTOS.
AI Fluency: Ability to demonstrate how you have utilized AI in development and, more importantly, how you ensure the reliability and validation of AI outputs.
Education & Experience
Degree: BS in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in Test, Systems, or Embedded Engineering.
Backgrounds of Interest: We are highly interested in candidates from Aerospace, Robotics, or specialized hardware teams
