Help Desk Technician

Eagle Integrated Services (EIS), LLC is seeking a Help Desk Technician onsite at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.

The successful candidate shall provide technician support. Personnel will provide the first-line of technical assistance for information systems, software, hardware, networks, video teleconference, telephones/fax devices services used by USAFSAM and 711 HPW personnel on a daily basis. Tasks may include: packing, unpacking, configuring, upgrading, installing, relocating, connecting new and existing systems to the network(s), installing the Standard Desktop Configuration (SDC) software suite, custom AF, DoD, Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS), other software on personal computer systems, tablets/mobile computing devices, configuring and troubleshooting video teleconference equipment, displays and other actions (such as trash disposal and those required to maintain a clean and safe work environment) related to receiving, configuring, installing, maintaining, and disposing of IT components. It may also include identifying and submitting IT Requirements Documents to the local communications group to add, modify, or remove IT services and capabilities as well as tracking requests to completion. The candidate may be responsible for providing documentation to demonstrate compliance with applicable policies, and ensure equipment is properly marked and/or has required documentation e.g. AF Form 3535, Facsimile Electro Mail Transmittal. The candidate may perform duties as the Information Technology Equipment Custodian (ITEC) and/or alternate in accordance with (IAW) applicable AF, DHA and/or DoD publications/policies.

Requirements:

- Possess a High School diploma and 4 years computer-related experience.

- Security + certification is required.

- Have the ability to organize, manage, and perform work related to ongoing information technology efforts.

- Possess excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

- Proficiency with standard information technology, including Microsoft software programs.

- Secret Security Clearance is required.
