We are looking for a driven and ambitious Senior Lead Technical Engineer, based in Mikulov, Czechia, to join a rapidly growing business within a global leader in climate technology and sustainability solutions.

Key responsibilities of the role:
  • Project leadership for the installation of a new functional test rig and related processes for industrial HVAC products.
  • Coordination of internal resources and external suppliers.
  • Project management of the installation and commissioning of test equipment in Mikulov, Czech Republic.
  • Specification of test processes and procedures.
  • Implementation of data collection and processing systems in cooperation with suppliers.
  • Ensuring that the new test facility meets all regulatory and safety standards.
  • Leadership of the test facility, including the establishment and maintenance of all necessary procedures.
  • Test planning and coordination.
  • Collaboration with Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams.
  • Coordination of testing activities with customers and other stakeholders.
  • Supervision and technical leadership of a team of test technicians.
  • Operation of industrial heat pump systems.
  • Application of specialized measurement instruments, including frequency drives, flow meters, power meters, and controllers.
  • Responsibility for test data management and processing.
  • Preparation, definition, and execution of tests.

Required qualifications and experience:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar technical position (HVAC-R experience is an advantage).
  • Experience in the development and testing of compressors, heat pumps, and cooling units is an advantage.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • English language proficiency at B2 level; Czech language proficiency at B1 level.
  • Daily user of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of refrigeration technology and components.
  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
  • Proactive approach and strong analytical thinking skills.
  • Excellent prioritization and time management abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
  • Positive, can-do attitude.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new skills and technologies.
  • Potential to lead and develop a team.

Preferred qualifications and experience:
  • Engineering education in Thermodynamics/HVAC-R as advantage
