We are seeking a Workday Technical Developer to support and maintain Workday integrations, reporting, security, and related technical components. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience developing integrations, creating reports, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with HRIS and technical teams. This is a 100% remote position with opportunities to expand technical skills across the Workday ecosystem.
Responsibilities - Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Workday integrations using EIB, Workday Studio, Cloud Connect, Web Services, and APIs.
- Develop and maintain Workday reports using Calculated Fields and Workday reporting tools.
- Support Workday Security configuration and maintain technical documentation.
- Prepare and execute deployments across Sandbox, Preview, and Production environments.
- Perform testing, debugging, and root-cause analysis for integrations, reports, and production issues.
- Monitor integrations, investigate failures, and resolve technical issues.
- Collaborate with HRIS teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to develop solutions.
- Maintain technical documentation and support resources.
- Stay current with Workday releases, reporting enhancements, and emerging technologies, including Workday Extend.
Must Haves - 2–4 years of HRIS or Workday technical experience.
- Hands-on experience developing, maintaining, or troubleshooting Workday integrations.
- Working knowledge of EIB, Workday Studio, Cloud Connect, Web Services, and APIs.
- Experience with Workday Reporting and Calculated Fields.
- Knowledge of XML, XSLT, XPath, JSON, REST APIs, and SOAP Web Services.
- Familiarity with software development, testing, deployment, and change management practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and professional experience.
Nice-to-Haves - Understanding of Workday Security concepts.
- Experience with Workday Studio, Cloud Connect, and production support.
- Workday certifications or training in Integrations, Reporting, or Studio.
- Workday Extend experience or training.
- Integration, cloud, or software development certifications.
- Interest in learning emerging Workday technologies and expanding technical expertise.
