Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Technical Analyst for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role requires a Senior Technical Analyst to work with the Global Markets Technology group, performing complex functional and data product analysis. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and business knowledge to support both business and technology teams, with the ability to handle multiple complex projects in parallel. This position requires a hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.
Responsibilities: - Perform complex functional and data product analysis
- Apply knowledge and expertise in the design, development, testing, and implementation of new functionality for multiple complex applications
- Manage business deliverables with minimal oversight and direction
- Work directly with key business partners to manage initiative and BAU requirements
- Interface and build strong working relationships with senior-level Business Stakeholders, Technology Managers, and support teams
- Provide oversight and guidance to more junior business and technical analysts
Requirements: - 7+ years of experience in business analysis including systems analysis and data analysis troubleshooting
- Business Analyst with strong Project Management and data modeling experience
- Experienced with Agile methodology, process flow, and a solid understanding of creating stories, epics, and deliverables
- Proficient in SQL for data analysis related activities, including extensive background in SQL development for complex queries
- Strong appreciation of how software is designed, developed, tested, and released end-to-end (SDLC)
- Subject matter expertise in Markets, Investment and Trade Surveillance, and Compliance with strong project management experience
- Ability to support a very large number of global data feeds/data sets from broker/dealers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and capable of producing high-quality, clear business-friendly design specifications
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills
Desired skills: - Scrum Master certification is a plus
Pay range: $57.70 - $65.70 per hour
