Looking for AI for Databricks

Introduction

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Databricks AI Subject Matter Expert (SME) with a strong background in Databricks Platform Expertise, AI & Generative AI Development, and AI Application Development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-scale AI and Generative AI solutions on the Databricks Lakehouse Platform.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the AI for Databricks role include:

  • Designing and developing AI-powered applications such as Conversational AI Assistants, Enterprise Knowledge Assistants, Document Intelligence Solutions, AI Search Applications, Customer Support Copilots, Code Generation Assistants, and Workflow Automation Agents.
  • Building REST APIs, Microservices, AI Application Backend Services, Agent-based Workflows, and Event-driven Architectures.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and workflows.
  • Staying updated on industry trends and advancements in AI technologies.
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance on AI projects.

Requirements

The required skills for this role include:

  • 8-10+ years of overall experience in the field.
  • Strong expertise in Databricks Platform.
  • Experience in AI & Generative AI Development.
  • Hands-on experience in AI Application Development.
  • Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
  • Proficiency in Data Engineering.
  • Experience in Cloud-native Application Development.

The preferred skills for this role include:

  • Experience in building Conversational AI Assistants, Enterprise Knowledge Assistants, Document Intelligence Solutions, AI Search Applications, Customer Support Copilots, Code Generation Assistants, and Workflow Automation Agents.
  • Expertise in building REST APIs, Microservices, AI Application Backend Services, Agent-based Workflows, and Event-driven Architectures.
