Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Quality Engineer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who is passionate about quality and precision, and who has a strong background in precision manufacturing. The successful candidate will be a key player in our organization, contributing to the continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes and ensuring compliance with AS9100 standards. You will work closely with our manufacturing and engineering teams to maintain the highest quality standards, focusing on airfoil manufacturing and first article inspections.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures to meet AS9100 standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
  • Perform first article inspections and provide technical guidance to the manufacturing team.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement quality assurance testing methods and procedures.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for manufacturing defects and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor and analyze quality performance data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on quality control and assurance procedures.

-Ensure all products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with AS9100 standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in a quality engineering role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Experience with AS9100 standards.
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related field. (Preferred)
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing engineering processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Proficient in using quality assurance software and tools.
