Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Disaster Recovery (DR) Infrastructure / Oracle Platform Engineer with strong expertise in enterprise-scale DR architecture, Oracle platform recovery, automation, and hybrid infrastructure resilience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, implementing, and validating disaster recovery solutions with measurable RTO/RPO outcomes across data center and hybrid cloud environments.

Required Skills & Responsibilities:

Disaster Recovery Architecture & Operations
Design, implement, and operate disaster recovery solutions for enterprise-scale data centers and hybrid environments
Deliver measurable Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO)
Plan, execute, and validate failover and failback scenarios

Oracle Platform & Database Recovery
Strong expertise with Oracle database technologies and DR capabilities including:

• Oracle Data Guard

• Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN)

• Database replication

• Backup and restore strategies
  Experience validating database recovery during automated failover scenarios

Automation & Infrastructure Orchestration
Automate failover workflows, DR drills, and recovery validation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and orchestration tools such as:

• Terraform

• Ansible

• Rundeck

• Jenkins
  Strong scripting experience with:

• Python

• Bash

• PowerShell

Network & Infrastructure Resilience
Strong networking and routing expertise including:

• BGP routing

• DNS failover strategies

• Circuit redundancy planning
  Hands-on experience configuring and managing load balancers such as:

• F5

• HAProxy

• Cloud-based load balancing platforms

Storage & Replication
Experience with enterprise storage replication technologies including:

• SAN replication

• NAS replication

• Synchronous and asynchronous replication models
  Strong understanding of data consistency models and application recovery impacts

Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)
Cisco CCNP
CISSP
SRE / DevOps certifications
Cloud provider DR certifications
Experience with Chaos Monkey or Gremlin
Telecom carrier management and circuit provisioning experience
Experience in regulated industries requiring DR audit and compliance documentation
