Location: Romulus, MI
Schedule: Onsite, Monday-Friday (5 days per week)
Employment Type: Long-Term Contract-to-Hire

Preference: Strong preference for Michigan-based candidates
Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Windows Systems Administrator to manage, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise compute, storage, and desktop environments. This role supports a wide range of technologies including Office 365, Azure, VMware, Windows Server, SAN/NAS, backup solutions, and endpoint security. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to support complex systems in a 24x7x365 enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and support IT projects in alignment with technology services objectives.
  • Administer and maintain enterprise system architecture solutions.
  • Provide 24x7x365 support for enterprise hardware, software, and infrastructure as needed.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documentation.
  • Prepare and deliver performance reports and growth planning metrics.
  • Establish and perform regular preventive maintenance activities.
  • Provide technical support, guidance, and mentorship to staff and contractors.
  • Work onsite daily (Monday-Friday).
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
    OR
  • High school diploma plus 4+ years of hands-on experience in an enterprise environment with the technologies listed in the Minimum Qualifications.

2. 3+ years' experience with:
  • Pure Storage FlashArray (X20R3, C50R4), Pure1, ActiveCluster
  • Veeam Enterprise Backup & Recovery
  • File & Print Services
  • Rack & Stack / Data Center Installation
3. 2+ years' experience designing integrated solutions across server, storage, backup, management, and security environments (virtual and physical).
4. Physical Requirements
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 30 lbs.
