Job Overview:
We are seeking experienced Developers with strong expertise in Actimize (ActOne & STAR) to support a critical financial crime case management platform. This role will focus primarily on production support, configuration, and enhancements of an enterprise application hosted on AWS.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide production (BAU) support for Actimize-based applications (~50%)
Perform configuration and customization using Actimize tools such as ActOne Designer and Visual Modeler (~30%)
Develop and enhance application features using Java (~20%)
Troubleshoot issues, analyze logs, and resolve production incidents
Work with SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting (not heavy backend development)
Support case management workflows within financial crime systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including offshore partners
Participate in ongoing enhancements and system improvements
Utilize scripting (Python/PowerShell) for automation where required
Required Skills & Qualifications:
6+ years of experience with Actimize (ActOne required)
Strong experience with Java development
Hands-on experience with Actimize modules (ActOne, STAR preferred)
Solid knowledge of SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting
Experience working in AWS cloud environments
Familiarity with Linux and Windows platforms
Understanding of financial crime / AML domain (preferred)
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with Python or PowerShell scripting
Exposure to DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines)
Experience with Actimize configuration tools (ActOne Designer, Visual Modeler)
Prior experience in banking or financial services
Work Environment:
Hybrid model: 3 days onsite per week (Richmond location only)
Monday Thursday: Onsite flexibility
Friday: Work from home
