Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced IAM Engineer to support and manage enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems. This role focuses on production support, troubleshooting, and optimization of IAM infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on Ping Access, Ping Federate, and Linux environments. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable identity services across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide production support for IAM platforms including Ping Access, Ping Federate, Ping Directory, and related systems
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to SSO, federated identity (SAML), PKI, and authentication services
  • Perform incident management, root cause analysis, and service restoration in line with ITIL practices
  • Support IAM infrastructure components such as directory services, authentication tools, and security integrations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and seamless access management solutions
  • Maintain and enhance system performance, availability, and security across IAM platforms
  • Work with tools like Splunk for monitoring, logging, and analysis
  • Ensure compliance with information security standards and best practices
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance IAM operations and processes
Required Skills & Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM)
  • 8+ years of hands-on production support experience with Ping suite (Ping Access, Ping Federate, Ping Directory)
  • Strong expertise in Linux systems administration (mandatory)
  • Solid understanding of networking (TCP/IP) and information security concepts
  • Experience with SSO, SAML, PKI, and authentication frameworks
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes (incident, problem, and change management)
  • Experience with Splunk for monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • CISSP or equivalent security certification
  • Experience with SailPoint or other IAM tools
  • Exposure to enterprise banking or financial services environments
