Role: Workday Procurement Implementation Specialist
Location: Remote
Duration: 12–18 Months
Job Summary:
Seeking a hands-on Workday Procurement Implementation Specialist to support a major Workday implementation. This is a tactical role working directly with the Procurement Lead, business stakeholders, project managers, and SI team.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of Workday functional experience
- Strong Workday Procurement / Financials experience
- Workday implementation experience
- Experience with 2+ of: Procurement, Supplier Accounts, Strategic Sourcing, CLM, Contracts, Inventory, Procure-to-Pay
- Strong experience with testing, UAT, training, documentation, and data validation
- Experience with defect triage, issue resolution, implementation readiness, and stabilization
- Ability to work independently with business users and technical/functional teams
- Public sector, healthcare, higher education, utility, or complex ERP experience preferred
- Workday certification preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Workday Procurement implementation activities
- Assist with design, testing, UAT, and data validation
- Support Supplier Management, Strategic Sourcing, CLM, and Procure-to-Pay processes
- Prepare training and implementation documentation
- Track defects and coordinate issue resolution
- Support implementation readiness and post-go-live stabilization
