Java Developer (6+Years) with Strong Kafka exp-full time-Hybrid

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Kafka Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, Microservices, and real-time event streaming. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and support high-performance, event-driven applications using Kafka and modern Java technologies while collaborating with cross-functional teams to build scalable enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Java & Microservices Development

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Build scalable RESTful APIs and event-driven services.
• Develop reusable, secure, and high-performance backend components.
• Implement business logic using object-oriented design principles and industry best practices.
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.

Kafka & Event Streaming

• Design and implement Kafka-based event streaming architectures.
• Develop and maintain Kafka Producers, Consumers, and Kafka Streams applications.
• Configure and manage Kafka Connect for data integration.
• Develop KSQL queries for real-time stream processing and analytics.
• Optimize Kafka topics, partitions, replication, and consumer groups for high throughput and fault tolerance.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Kafka clusters and messaging workflows.

API Development & Integration

• Build and consume RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.
• Develop API documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Test APIs using Postman and automate API validation.
• Integrate backend services with external systems and enterprise applications.

Database Development

• Design and optimize SQL and NoSQL database solutions.
• Develop efficient queries and improve application performance.
• Work with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Develop applications using MongoDB, Couchbase, and Redis for caching and high-performance data access.

CI/CD & DevOps

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
• Manage source code using Git and branching strategies.
• Deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Support cloud-native deployments on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Monitoring & Support

• Monitor application health using Splunk, AppDynamics, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve production issues.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and availability.
• Participate in production support and incident management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6–10+ years of experience in Java backend development.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and Confluent Kafka.
