Schneider Electric is seeking a Web Development Intern to join our ArcFM Web team in Summer 2026 based in Fort Collins, Colorado.

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Web Development Intern to join our ArcFM Web team. This internship is designed for college students who are passionate about web technologies and eager to gain hands-on experience in building and enhancing enterprise-level web applications. You will work closely with experienced developers and contribute to real-world projects that support utility and GIS solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of ArcFM Web applications.
  • Collaborate with the development team to implement new features and improve existing functionality.
  • Develop and maintain automated & unit tests to ensure application quality and reliability.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve bugs or performance issues in web applications.
  • Learn and apply Agile development methodologies in a team environment.
  • For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $22.00 - $27.00 per hour. In addition, this position is eligible for overtime pay and may also include premium pay or differentials, depending on location.

    The compensation rate for this position is for candidates located within the United States. Individual pay is determined by several factors including knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of TypeScript, JavaScript
  • Familiarity with modern web frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services is desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as part of a team collaboratively.
  • Local to the Fort Collins, CO area. Relocation is not provided for this role.

Preferred Skills:
  • Exposure to React. HTML, CSS, and C#.
  • Experience with Git or other version control systems.
  • Understanding of GIS concepts or interest in geospatial technologies.
