Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree in Electrical Technology, Electronics, or related field preferred
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field is a plus
Experience Requirements:
- Experience in electrical assembly, panel building, machine wiring, or controls
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
- Experience using electrical hand tools and wiring equipment
- Soldering experience preferred
- Senior-level candidates should have 7+ years of related experience
Job Duties:
- Assemble and wire electrical panels, control cabinets, and subassemblies
- Install electrical and electromechanical components per engineering drawings
- Route, label, and connect wiring to meet specifications
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
- Perform soldering, testing, troubleshooting, and repairs as needed
- Diagnose wiring issues, component failures, and electrical malfunctions
- Collaborate with engineers on assemblies, prototypes, and problem-solving
- Complete production documentation and maintain quality standards
- Inspect finished products for accuracy, functionality, and workmanship
Physical Capabilities:
- Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
- Stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift
- Lift and move materials and components as needed
- Maintain attention to detail while working with electrical systems
- Work safely in a manufacturing environment
