Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Data Center Structured Cabling Team Lead to supervise installation teams and oversee fiber and copper cabling deployments in live data center environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 6–8 installation technicians.
  • Oversee fiber optic and copper cabling installation, routing, dressing, and labeling.
  • Perform OTDR and insertion-loss testing.
  • Manage installation quality, QA, troubleshooting, and rework.
  • Coordinate daily work plans, materials, tools, and team assignments.
  • Ensure compliance with installation drawings, safety procedures, and project timelines.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of structured cabling or data center experience.
  • Experience leading or supervising installation technicians.
  • Hands-on fiber optic and copper cabling knowledge.
  • Experience with OTDR and insertion-loss testing.
  • Knowledge of MPO/MTP connectors and cabling standards.

Preferred

  • BICSI Installer 2 certification or equivalent.
  • Experience working in enterprise or hyperscale data centers.
