Security Operations Analyst Location: Southlake, TX / Westlake, TX / Phoenix, AZ
Job Type: Hybrid (On-site Monday - Thursday; Remote on Friday)

The Data Protection program serves organizational needs by implementing data security best practices via technologies and methods that secure data in motion, data in use, and data at rest.
The Security & Technology Operations organization is seeking a Security Operations Analyst for the Data Protection Team. The successful candidate will be a technical, passionate, and self-driven individual who loves to learn, solve problems, and contribute to the advancement of the team.
Responsibilities: - Deliver various data security operational processes related to Database Activity Monitoring.
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to information security-related risks such as policy violations and threats to company databases.
- Support the efforts of the Security Operations Team, Risk Management, and various Engineering teams to drive program maturity.
Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to maintain detailed living documents.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with peers and cross-functional teams.
- Experience communicating security concepts to business teams.
- Demonstrated passion for designing solutions to automate manual processes.
Preferred qualifications: - Relevant professional certification (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CIA, or equivalent).
- 1+ years of Information Security experience or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Data Protection concepts (e.g., Data Loss Prevention, Encryption, Data at Rest vs. Data in Motion, Unstructured vs. Structured data).
- Understanding of information security best practices and technologies.
- Experience with Python, SQL, and/or PowerShell is strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical background and approach, especially with respect to event classification, event correlation, and root cause analysis.
