Business Analyst / Product Analyst for a
direct-hire opportunity. This
hybrid role will play a critical part in bridging business needs and technical solutions, supporting enterprise data, analytics, and application initiatives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in requirements gathering, Agile delivery, stakeholder engagement, and data-driven solution development.
Essential Functions and DutiesRequirements Gathering & Analysis- Partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, data engineers, solution architects, and BI developers to define and refine business and technical requirements.
- Translate complex business challenges into scalable technology and data solutions, including applications, integrations, data layers, and analytical models.
- Develop documentation such as BRDs, FRDs, process flows, data mappings, data dictionaries, and test scripts.
- Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies early in the project lifecycle.
- Support Agile delivery through iterative requirements refinement and stakeholder feedback.
Product Ownership & Agile Leadership- Serve as a proxy Product Owner, defining scope, epics, user stories, and priorities.
- Act as Scrum Master/Agile Lead, facilitating sprint ceremonies and monitoring delivery performance.
- Collaborate with leadership to manage roadmaps, backlogs, and release planning.
- Promote Agile best practices and continuous improvement.
- Identify and mitigate delivery risks and dependencies.
Stakeholder Engagement & Solution Validation- Lead discovery and requirements workshops across multiple business functions.
- Serve as liaison between business and technical teams.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), data testing, and quality assurance.
- Develop test plans and acceptance criteria.
- Support change management and solution adoption initiatives.
- Monitor post-implementation feedback and recommend improvements.
Compliance, Governance & Continuous Improvement- Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, data governance, and security standards.
- Troubleshoot system and data issues using SQL and reporting tools.
- Promote best practices in data governance, quality, and metadata management.
- Collaborate with compliance and IT leadership on regulatory alignment.
- Identify opportunities for optimization, innovation, and risk mitigation.

Education, Knowledge, Skills, and ExperienceRequired Education- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field,
or four additional years of relevant experience.
Preferred Education- Training in cloud-based data platforms, enterprise analytics, or Agile methodologies.
Required Experience- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role.
- Experience delivering enterprise IT, data engineering, or analytics initiatives.
- Experience serving as a proxy Product Owner or working closely with product teams.
- Advanced SQL proficiency.
- Experience with data integration tools (e.g., Fivetran, dbt, Azure Data Factory).
- Experience with ERP and CRM platforms (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, Workday).
- Knowledge of Agile frameworks and tools (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
Preferred Experience- Development of internal data products and self-service analytics platforms.
- Familiarity with Medallion architecture, Delta tables, and streaming/batch pipelines.
- Knowledge of data governance and regulatory environments in healthcare or pharmaceutical distribution.
- Cross-functional experience in finance, supply chain, operations, or commercial domains.
