Job Summary- Part marks and identifies all parts per work order and/or customer specifications; attention to details is a must.
- Packages parts for stock and/or shipment.
- Closes out work orders as needed.
- Maintains stockroom.
- Prepares parts for shipment; i.e. Pull items from daily lists, validate counts, assemble wooden and cardboard boxes.
- Insert parts into shipping containers with the proper paperwork and proper labels.
- Maintains and executes daily cycle counts in finished goods warehouse.
- Maintains a clean work area/environment (6s).
- Operates hand-truck to move parts to stock and distribute items as needed.
- Performs other duties and assignments as directed.
Required Skills and Qualifications - Ability to operate a hand truck to move parts
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mylars (preferred).
- Read and understand internal procedures and policies.
- Understand and follow through on both verbal and written instructions
- Team oriented with a continuous improvement outlook.
Required Experience and Education - H.S. Diploma or GED
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Business
- Minimum 5-7 years progressive experience in quality management with supervisory experience, including military, where applicable, and commercial customers
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic math skills
- Basic Computer Skills - able to learn new screens, reports, functions and simple software programs with assistance
- Must be detail oriented
- Must be accurate
- Must be action oriented
