Summary
Job Title: Senior QA Automation Engineer (Full-Time)
Location: New York City, NY (Hybrid 3 Days Onsite)
Employment Type: Full-Time (FTE)
Interview Process: 4 Rounds (One round will be conducted In-Person)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end QA strategy, planning, and execution for enterprise applications.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks from scratch.
- Automate Web UI, API, Integration, Regression, and End-to-End testing.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
- Perform manual testing for complex business scenarios where automation is not suitable.
- Validate APIs, backend data, integrations, and enterprise workflows.
- Review business requirements and technical designs to ensure complete test coverage.
- Identify defects, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish QA best practices across teams.
- Track release readiness, quality metrics, testing progress, and production risks.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of Software QA / Test Automation experience
- Strong experience designing Automation Frameworks
- Selenium / Playwright / Cypress
- API Testing using Postman or similar tools
- Java OR JavaScript OR Python OR TypeScript
- CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, etc.)
- Regression Testing
- Functional Testing
- Integration Testing
- End-to-End Testing
- SDLC/STLC
- Jira
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
