Our government client is looking for an experienced Microsoft Azure / .NET Developer on a currently remote (can be hybrid or onsite) 6+ months renewable contract role in Harrisburg, PA.

Position- Microsoft Azure / .NET Developer

Job Overview:
We’re looking for a highly skilled Senior .NET Developer with strong Azure Cloud Architecture experience to design, build, and modernize enterprise applications using .NET Core, Power Platform, and Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate combines hands-on development expertise with a solid understanding of scalable, secure cloud architectures and a passion for leveraging emerging technologies to drive innovation and digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop modern applications using .NET Core (C#), MVC, and Entity Framework Core.
• Architect and deploy cloud-native solutions in Microsoft Azure(App Services, Functions, Azure SQL, Logic Apps).
• Build and enhance solutions with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
• Integrate .NET, Power Platform, SharePoint, CRM,and Dynamics 365 solutions.
• Lead cloud migration, modernization, and DevOps initiatives (CI/CD, Git, Infrastructure as Code).
• Ensure performance, security, and scalability across all Azure-based applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality, maintainable, and innovative solutions.

Qualifications
• 7+ years of experience in .NET development and Azure-based application design.
• Strong understanding of Azure architecture, security, and DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with APIs, microservices, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with Power Platform and Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• Azure Solutions Architect or equivalent certification preferred.

Required/Desired Experience:

  • 7 Years of Experience in .NET development and Azure-based application design Required
  • Strong understanding of Azure architecture, security, and DevOps Required
  • Hands-on experience with APIs, microservices, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes). Required
  • Experience with Power Platform and Microsoft 365 ecosystem. Required
  • Azure Solutions Architect or equivalent certification preferred. Required
