Position Overview

We are looking for a Principal Infrastructure Architect with deep expertise in enterprise Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). The successful candidate will design, implement, and optimize secure virtual desktop environments while providing technical leadership across infrastructure initiatives.

Responsibilities

Design enterprise Virtual Desktop Infrastructure solutions supporting Windows and Linux environments.
Lead implementation, configuration, optimization, and lifecycle management of VDI platforms.
Develop architecture standards and infrastructure best practices.
Ensure high availability, scalability, security, and performance across the environment.
Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, security, and application teams.
Evaluate technologies and recommend platform improvements.
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure challenges and provide architectural guidance.
Support enterprise infrastructure modernization initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Extensive experience designing enterprise VDI solutions.
Expertise with Windows and Linux virtual desktop environments.
Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure architecture.
Experience implementing secure, scalable, and high-performing VDI platforms.
Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware Horizon, Citrix, Azure Virtual Desktop, or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of networking, Active Directory, storage, virtualization, and security principles.
Experience within large enterprise environments.
