Detailed Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET SDET / QA Automation Lead with extensive experience in designing, modernizing, building, and scaling large-scale enterprise test application solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in automation framework architecture, cloud validation, API testing, data validation, and AI-assisted quality engineering across complex distributed systems. This role required strong technical leadership, hands-on automation development, and ability to drive quality engineering strategies across multiple product teams.

 

Preferred Qualifications
⦁ 10+ years of experience in Software Development Engineering in Test (SDET), software development experience, Test Automation,  with significant experience in Quality Engineering.
⦁ Strong track record designing and modernizing large-scale enterprise automation solutions.
⦁ Extensive hands-on experience with the Microsoft .NET ecosystem.
⦁ Experience modernizing legacy desktop/client-server applications into modern web or service-based architectures.
⦁ Experience designing enterprise authentication and SSO solutions.
⦁ Experience supporting business-critical production applications and resolving complex production issues.
⦁ Strong SQL skills and proven experience in Data Validation testing.
⦁ Strong understanding of cloud, API, integration testing.
⦁ Experience leading geographically distributed or cross-functional engineering teams.
⦁ Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Key Responsibilities
⦁ Provide technical architecture and engineering leadership for complex enterprise automation solution for applications built on the Microsoft technology stack.
⦁ Define automation test architecture, technical direction, engineering standards, and modernization roadmaps for enterprise platforms.
⦁ Design and develop scalable enterprise automation solutions and services using C#, .NET Core / modern .NET, ASP.NET, Web API, and related frameworks.
⦁ Drive improvements in application performance, reliability, observability, scalability, and production supportability.
⦁ Troubleshoot complex application, database, integration, and production issues and provide long-term architectural solutions rather than tactical fixes.
⦁ Drive API and service validation using REST/SOAP APIs, Postman and SOAP UI.
⦁ Perform backend data validation using SQL.
⦁ Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab CI, Jenkins and Github Actions leveraging Docker and Kunernetes for scalable test execution.
⦁ Design and implement cloud-based and serverless solutions using AWS services such as Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, RDS, and ECS.
⦁ Provide architecture and engineering oversight across UI, services, integration, database, and cloud components.
⦁ Support modern front-end technologies including Angular and React integrated with .NET-based backend services.
⦁ Establish effective application logging, diagnostics, and case/transaction-level observability to improve production troubleshooting.
⦁ Collaborate with engineering and support teams on production support, root-cause analysis, release management, and operational improvements.
⦁ Lead technical design reviews, code reviews, architecture discussions, and engineering best practices.
⦁ Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and provide technical guidance across development teams.
⦁ Participate in technical interviews and support engineering talent development.
⦁ Champion appropriate use of AI-assisted software engineering tools to improve developer productivity, code quality, documentation, analysis, and engineering efficiency.
⦁ Partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate functional requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
