Job title:  Senior SAP Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead and deliver complex SAP initiatives, including S/4HANA greenfield implementations and brownfield migrations.

The ideal candidate combines project management expertise with technical (e.g., ABAP) or functional (e.g., FI/CO, SD/MM, PP) experience.

This role requires a self-motivated, detail-oriented professional capable of driving full project visibility — from requirements definition through solution delivery — while ensuring alignment between business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of SAP projects, including greenfield and brownfield migrations, integrations, and major enhancements.

·         Manage project scope, budget, timeline, and risks in line with organizational PMO and governance standards.

·         Conduct daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and weekly progress summaries for stakeholders and executive management.

·         Drive collaboration between functional (FI/CO, SD/MM, PP, etc.) and technical (ABAP, Basis, Integration) teams to ensure solution quality and consistency.

·         Oversee requirement gathering, functional and technical design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.

·         Provide performance feedback and mentorship to team members and ensure accountability across workstreams.

·         Ensure adherence to SAP Activate methodology and promote best practices in documentation and change management.

·         Maintain project visibility through effective communication, dashboards, and executive reporting.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

·         7+ years of SAP project management experience, with at least 2 full lifecycle implementations or S/4HANA migrations (greenfield or brownfield). 

·         Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional SAP teams across business, functional, and technical domains.

·         Hands-on understanding of SAP modules or technical components (ABAP, integration, Basis).

·         Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Hybrid, or Waterfall).

·         Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

·         Proven track record in driving visibility, accountability, and delivery in complex environments.

·         Ability to translate business requirements into technical deliverables and ensure alignment across stakeholders.

·         Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

·         SAP S/4HANA certification or PMP / Agile (Scrum Master) certification.

·         Experience with SAP Solution Manager, Jira, or ServiceNow for project tracking and governance.

·         Exposure to global or multi-entity SAP rollouts with distributed teams.

·         Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD integration, and testing automation in SAP environments.

·         Experience managing offshore and hybrid delivery models.

·         Advanced degree (MBA or MS) in Business, Technology, or related field.
