About the role

We are seeking a skilled, motivated Sr. Staff Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic team in Santa Clara, CA. This exceptional role offers an outstanding opportunity to manage incidents and oversee Change Management processes with modern technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in understanding complex engineering challenges, developing robust solutions, and carrying out end-to-end reliability projects successfully. Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of world-class reliability solutions, ensuring flawless execution and adherence to industry standards.
  •  Architect and implement systems that meet ambitious performance, scalability, and reliability requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine project requirements, providing mentorship and fostering a culture of inclusion and collaboration.
  • Handle incidents and change management activities diligently to ensure minimal disruption and optimal system performance.
  • Promote the adoption of best practices in reliability engineering, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration, to guarantee high-quality deliverables.
  • Drive innovation by exploring and integrating new technologies and methodologies that enhance reliability capabilities.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering an encouraging and collaborative environment passionate about continuous learning and growth.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of proven experience in reliability engineering roles, with emphasis on leadership of teams and management of projects.
  • Proven track record of designing and successfully implementing reliability solutions that solve complex business problems.
  •  Expertise in programming languages such as C++, Python, and Java, with a deep understanding of reliability engineering principles.
  • Experience overseeing incidents and managing change management processes in Fortune 500 companies across various industries.
  • Master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Reliability Engineering) or equivalent experience.
