DevSecOps Engineer

Immediate and Permanent opening for DevSecOps Engineer to join a high-performing application engineering team. This is not a traditional DevOps role; the ideal candidate will embed security throughout the entire software delivery lifecycle while driving automation, release efficiency, and secure cloud operations. Must have experience working in Salesforce environments.

*This role is onsite in Charlotte, NC*

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Support Salesforce release engineering, branching strategies, automated deployments, and sandbox management
• Implement automated security controls including SAST, DAST, SCA, secrets detection, and container scanning
• Manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code best practices
• Containerize and secure workloads using Docker and Kubernetes/ECS/EKS
• Partner with engineering and security teams on incident response, vulnerability remediation, and platform improvements
• Optimize pipeline performance, reliability, and developer adoption

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of previous software development experience (Java, .NET, Python, Node.js, Apex, or similar)
• 5+ years of DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or DevSecOps experience
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce CI/CD and deployment automation (GearSet preferred)
• Strong AWS experience including IAM, VPC, KMS, Secrets Manager, and security services
• Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes/EKS/ECS expertise
• Experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD platforms
• Experience with security tools such as Snyk, SonarQube, Checkmarx, or comparable solutions

Preferred:

• Salesforce Platform Developer certifications
• AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect and/or Security Specialty)
