Job Details
We're seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join a team building data solutions for the transportation industry. In this role, you'll design and maintain cloud-based data pipelines that support analytics, reporting, and operational insights across the organization.
You'll work with modern data platforms in a collaborative environment, solving real-world problems and helping deliver scalable, reliable data systems. This is a hybrid position based in downtown Phoenix.

What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain cloud-native data pipelines using Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Microsoft Fabric
- Implement batch and real-time data ingestion using a medallion architecture
- Write and optimize complex SQL for data transformation and integration
- Support and enhance legacy SSIS and SQL Server-based data platforms
- Build scalable, maintainable, and testable data solutions
Required
- 5+ years of experience building data engineering solutions
- Strong SQL and Python skills
- Hands-on experience developing and automating ETL pipelines
- Solid understanding of data lake architectures
Preferred
- Experience with Azure cloud services and cloud-based ETL tools
- Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools
- Knowledge of event-driven and batch processing architectures
- Exposure to NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra
- Experience with data science or machine learning, including feature engineering or model deployment
