Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer - Hybrid for a contract position with a Major Financial Institution located in McLean, VA. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role involves collaborating with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies. The ideal candidate will work with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions and share a passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies.
Responsibilities: - Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies
- Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, and mentoring other members of the engineering community
- Collaborate with digital product managers, and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences
- Utilize programming languages like JavaScript, React.js, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Jest, and Go, Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS tools and services
Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree
- At least 3 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not apply)
- Must be able to work a hybrid schedule (Tuesday-Thursday onsite, Monday & Friday remote)
Desired skills: - 4+ years of experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, React.js, Jest, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go
- 3+ years of experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service
- 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks
- 3+ years of experience in Agile practices
Pay range: $61.13 - $69.13 per hour
