Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Fabric Architect to design, implement, and optimize enterprise-scale data platforms using Microsoft Fabric and modern data engineering technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Fabric Lakehouse architecture, Apache Spark, and advanced data analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement end-to-end data architecture using Microsoft Fabric and Lakehouse architecture.
Build scalable data pipelines using Apache Spark and PySpark.
Develop and optimize Delta Lake based data platforms for large-scale data processing.
Implement Microsoft Fabric components including Data Factory, Lakehouse, Warehouse, and Power BI integration.
Design semantic data models and metrics layers for enterprise analytics and reporting.
Optimize SQL performance for analytical workloads.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions.
Provide architecture guidance and best practices for data engineering and analytics platforms.

Required Skills

Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric architecture and Lakehouse implementation
Advanced expertise in Apache Spark and PySpark
Experience with Delta Lake and modern data lake architectures
Strong SQL skills for analytics and performance optimization
Experience building semantic layer and metrics modeling
Strong understanding of data engineering fundamentals
Excellent communication and technical documentation skills

Preferred Skills

Experience with Azure Data Platform and Data Engineering tools
Exposure to Power BI, Data Factory, and enterprise analytics platforms
Prior experience in large-scale enterprise data environments

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Architecture
Proven experience designing modern data platforms and analytics architectures
Strong problem-solving and architecture design skills
