Senior Business Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client located in Beaverton, OR looking for a Senior Business Analyst, Materials Operations Excellence.

Responsibilities:
* Build the tools, pipelines, and stories that help Sourcing and Planning teams operate at their best
* Design, build, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reporting solutions that give Materials Sourcing and Planning teams real-time visibility into KPIs, trends, and performance opportunities
* Develop and automate data workflows, reducing manual effort and increasing speed-to-insight across the materials organization
* Leverage SQL, Python, Databricks to query, transform, and model large-scale supply chain datasets, enabling scalable and repeatable analytics
* Actively use AI-powered tools such as Cursor and GitHub Copilot to accelerate development, prototype new solutions, and drive a culture of innovation within the team
* Identify, design, and lead process improvement initiatives in partnership with Materials Sourcing and Planning stakeholders to streamline operations, reduce friction, and eliminate inefficiencies
* Craft compelling data stories for senior leadership, applying best-in-class visualization and communication practices to turn analysis into action and alignment
* Serve as a subject matter expert on the Materials Operations Excellence toolset, training and enabling partners across sourcing and planning to adopt new capabilities and ways of working

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Data Science, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field; will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training
* 1+ years of experience in data analytics, process improvement, or supply chain operations
* Proficiency in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and pipeline development
* Experience with Alteryx for data blending, workflow automation, and self-service analytics
* Experience building and maintaining dashboards and visualizations in Tableau
* Familiarity with Databricks for scalable data engineering and Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration
* Demonstrated experience leveraging AI-powered development tools (e.g., Cursor or similar) to accelerate analytical output and improve code quality
* Strong ability to translate complex, multi-dimensional data into clear, actionable narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences
* Experience in materials planning, strategic sourcing, or supply chain analytics is preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
