Summary
Position: EWS TESTER
Location: Memphis, TN onsite
Duration: 12+ months Contract
Job Description:
The objective of this position is to support the day-to-day operations of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and its supporting systems for the Memphis Logistics Center (MLC) and our Satellite Distribution Center (SDC) network. This role acts as the key connection point between operations and IT tying the tactical day to day needs to strategic priorities using People, Process, Automation, and Technology to drive our business forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute test scripts (e.g., Jira, qTest).
- Review and analyze requirements and technical specifications.
- Identify, report, and track defects using issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira.).
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
- Perform regression, functional, and integration testing.
- Document test results and contribute to process improvements.
- Work with business process owners to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Participate in system-level and end-to-end testing activities.
- Review test results and test progress with the System Test Lead.
- Adhere to current SDLC methodology and Validation requirements.
- Work multi-functionally to ensure validation of systems in accordance with current GxP/SDLC processes and requirements.
- Effectively communicate multi-functionally with both internal and external partners.
- Handle risks optimally, identify potential problems early, and raise issues as appropriate.
Education:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree required; focused degree specifically in Logistics, Supply Chain, Systems or Business preferred
Experience and Skills:
Required:
- Minimum three (3) years of testing distribution systems experience
- Minimum three (3) years of WMS management, maintenance, or implementation experience
- Strong problem-solving, communication and influencing skills.
- Proven track record to work multi-functionally.
- Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a multifaceted environment.
- Attention to detail and a drive for ensuring data and process accuracy and integrity.
Preferred:
- Medical Device sector/industry experience
- E2E supply chain knowledge and experience, such as operations, network planning and/or systems implementations
- Experience in SAP eWM, SAP Order To Cash or ERP order management processes
- Proficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
- Agile or Water Fall SDLC Methodology knowledge and experience.
