Our client is seeking a driven QA Analyst II to join their growing technology team, playing a key role in testing innovative checkout and point-of-sale systems. - Job Type: Contract

- Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $30 - 35 per hour, based on experience.

What You'll Do:
- Execute formalized and exploratory test scripts across all supported point-of-sale platforms, including new releases, upgrades, and fixes.
- Build and manage end-to-end test plans, ensuring every objective is met and each solution performs as expected.
- Document detailed test notes and defects, escalating potential quality issues to leadership in a timely manner.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and vendors to troubleshoot test host connections and support new system integrations.
- Contribute to documentation and training materials that keep the broader team aligned on QA best practices.
What Gets You the Job:
- A degree (or equivalent) plus 3+ years of QA experience; retail or point-of-sale experience is a plus.
- A detail-oriented mindset paired with the creativity to test not just how a system should work, but what happens when it doesn't.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to clearly convey ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
- A positive, outgoing attitude and genuine excitement for hands-on work with emerging checkout technology.
