Key Responsibilities- Designing and implementing embedded software for manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshooting and debugging hardware and software issues on production lines.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define system requirements for new products.
- Developing and maintaining firmware for industrial control systems.
- Performing hardware and software integration testing for new and existing systems.
- Optimizing embedded system performance and reliability in a manufacturing environment.
- Providing technical support and training to manufacturing personnel.
Recommended Qualifications- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in embedded software development for manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming for microcontrollers and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Hands-on experience with hardware debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters).
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC UA, EtherCAT).
- Experience with embedded Linux and/or other industrial control systems.
Bonus Qualifications- Experience with IoT protocols (e.g., MQTT, CoAP) for connected factory environments.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherCAT, PROFINET, Modbus TCP/IP).
- Understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS) in a manufacturing context.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for embedded systems in industrial settings.
