Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable web applications using Node.js, React.js, Java, and related technologies while ensuring application security, reliability, and performance.
Optimize application performance through server configuration, caching strategies, monitoring tools, database optimization, and resolution of complex technical defects and production incidents.
Manage cloud deployments and CI/CD pipelines using AWS, Jenkins, UrbanCode, and Terraform, ensuring automated deployment processes and reliable application releases.
Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, establish coding standards, develop unit tests, and integrate security and vulnerability monitoring solutions into the software development lifecycle.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
7+ years of experience in software development.
6–9 years of advanced Node.js development experience.
Experience developing full-stack applications using Node.js and React.js, with Java and enterprise application development exposure.
Experience with AWS cloud services, CI/CD automation, application deployment, performance optimization, and production troubleshooting.
Technical Skills:
Node.js, React.js, Java, AWS, Jenkins, UrbanCode (UCD), Terraform, MongoDB, SQL Server, Oracle
Business / Domain Skills:
Experience developing and maintaining enterprise web applications supporting business operations, digital services, and integrated application environments.
Experience managing application development and production support processes, including release management, incident resolution, defect management, and system reliability.
Experience supporting secure software delivery practices involving code quality, vulnerability management, automated testing, and deployment governance.
Experience collaborating with development teams, technical stakeholders, and project teams to translate technical requirements into scalable application solutions and maintainable software products.
Communication:
Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
Documentation:
Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
Work Authorization:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Ext JS and AngularJS frontend frameworks.
