Job Description

Seeking a senior-level resource to conduct a comprehensive As-Is assessment of the Agency s Digital Accessibility environment against new Federal accessibility requirements (including DOJ ADA Title II updates) and develop a structured, multi-year roadmap and strategy to achieve compliance.

This individual will bring clarity, structure, prioritization, and executive-ready reporting to a portfolio of loosely defined accessibility and compliance initiatives.

PREFERRED:

Certification in Project Management or Scrum Master is a plus.

Experience in drafting complete project proposals, work break down (WBS), project cost estimates including scope, schedule, and budget(s).

Experience with the Microsoft Suite of tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project and SharePoint)

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Documents prepares and presents solution options, risk identification and analysis.

Experience in documenting detailed descriptions of user needs, Program functions and steps required to implement changes.

Awareness or knowledge of DFPS systems and programs.

Knowledge of Texas Administrative Code, Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) EIR Accessibility Policy, and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA related to federal and state accessibility requirements.

Knowledge of industry best practices for accessibility services for digital content and Electronic Information Resources, such as brochures, flyers, webpages, documents, forms, and training materials.
