Job Description:

THIS IS IN HOUSTON

We are also open to Sr. Project Controls Analysts as long as they have managed a team!

Beacon Hill is hiring Project Controls Managers to support large-scale infrastructure and advanced manufacturing projects across North America. This team owns project controls and estimating across multiple sites, including Texas locations such as Houston, Austin, Corpus Christi, and Brookshire.

client OWNS ALL CONSTRUCTION DUTIES end-to-end . This PCM will own the all Project Controls duties, coordinate the entire project lifecycle, NOT just one contractor's scope. The client acts as the OWNER and manages its OWN construction projects- rather than outsourcing the project to EPC companies. If the candidate has ONLY done EPC contract work- they will not be a fit, they need to work directly with engineering, construction, procurement, and commissioning teams to build, maintain, and communicate schedules in a very fast-paced environment.

The Project Controls Manager will be responsible for cost, schedule, forecasting, progress tracking, risk identification, and clear executive reporting.  We do not want low-value reports. They want clear, concise, essential data that tells leadership where the project is today and where it is going.

Key Experience:

- 7-12 years of RECENT hands-on large capital project controls experience

- Must have personally built, maintained, and analyzed project schedules and forecasts- not just managed consultants or reported project status

- Must be a hands-on doer, not solely a program or portfolio manager.

- 5+ years managing a team (schedulers, cost engineers, planners, ect)

- Industrial construction or advanced manufacturing projects

- Cost and schedule integration

- Progress tracking using quantities, manhours, and field data

- Executive-level reporting

- Risk and opportunity identification

- Strong communication with engineers and construction leaders
