Position Title:
Senior Legal Counsel – Commercial Litigation & Contract Enforcement

Key Responsibilities :

- Represent the company in legal disputes, lawsuits, arbitrations, mediations, negotiations, and settlement discussions.
- Draft, review, and issue legal notices, cease & desist notices, demand letters, settlement agreements, and legal correspondence.
- Handle contract enforcement matters involving Independent Contractor Agreements, training agreements, payment disputes, and related business contracts.
- Advise leadership on employment law, contractor matters, risk mitigation, and business compliance issues.
- Manage and defend litigation matters, particularly breach of contract and financial recovery cases.
- Represent the company in Texas courts or coordinate effectively with local counsel when required.
- Review and strengthen company agreements and legal processes to minimize future litigation exposure.
- Provide strategic legal guidance and risk assessments on ongoing disputes and operational matters.
- Assist with collections, recovery actions, and legal enforcement strategies.

Required Qualifications :

- Active license to practice law in the United States (Texas Bar preferred).
- Strong experience in:
  - Commercial Litigation
  - Contract Law
  - Employment Law
  - Collections & Recovery
  - Business Disputes
- Proven experience handling breach of contract and enforcement actions.
- Ability to independently manage legal filings, hearings, negotiations, and court representation.
- Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and dispute resolution skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Experience advising startups, staffing firms, recruiting organizations, education companies, or training businesses is highly preferred.
